Is Pro's AI and e-signature really unlimited?

Yes — for named users working inside the TurboDocx app, AI credits and e-signatures on Pro have no monthly limit. The limits listed under 'API access' only apply when calling TurboDocx programmatically with an API key.

Why do API keys have separate limits?

API keys are used by scripts and integrations, which can generate thousands of requests per minute. On Pro we cap Quote and Signature API calls at 60 each per month and rate-limit the AI endpoints so programmatic usage doesn't degrade service quality for interactive users. Teams that need higher API volume should contact us about Enterprise.

What happens if my integration hits the API cap?

The endpoint returns HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) until the next billing cycle (for the monthly Quote and Signature caps) or until the rate-limit window resets (for AI throttling). In-app workflows for named users are unaffected. Enterprise plans offer custom or uncapped API limits.
